Swaraj Trophy

      The Swaraj Trophy is an annual award instituted by the Government of Kerala for local self-government institutions (Grama Panchayats, Block Panchayats, District Panchayats, Municipalities, and Corporations) that function in an excellent manner in Kerala. The main objective of this award is to encourage the best performance of local self-government institutions and make them more efficient. In the years 2017–18, 2018–19, 2019–20, and 2020–21, it was selected as the second-best Panchayat in the district and won the Swaraj Trophy.
