Geography
Alagappanagar Grama Panchayat is situated in Mukundapuram Taluk of Thrissur district. The area consists of plains mixed with slightly elevated regions. The soil is largely fertile and suitable for agricultural activities. Paddy fields, agricultural lands, ponds, and small water bodies enhance the natural beauty of the Panchayat. The region experiences a tropical climate, with southwest monsoon rainfall from June to September.
It has good road connectivity to Thrissur town and nearby areas. Although it retains its rural character, the Panchayat has achieved development in education, transportation, and healthcare services.
